Description

The B&W Panorama can be integrated and controlled within RS232 home automation systems using its service socket: this is basically an RS232 interface with a non-standard connector and voltage levels

The service socket is located on the Panorama connection panel. It is indicated by the word "Service". The socket accepts a 3.5mm stereo jack plug as illustrated in the manual.

This module controls the available device functions, such as:

  • Power
  • Volume
  • Input selection
  • Panorama mode

The device doesn't support true feedback. It's a one way serial connection.
